These new buildings are being completed in two phases. The first phase of 35,000 square feet is essentially a school complete with offices, kitchen, classrooms and multipurpose rooms. Parish office space and board room is also included in the first phase competed in 1997.
The second phase adds 77,000 square feet including a sanctuary designed to seat over 2400. The second phase is currently in bidding and permit review. The building also houses meeting rooms, classrooms, multi-purpose rooms and administrative spaces.
Energy savings measures include energy recovery total energy heat wheels and demand control ventilation on all air side systems.
While the sanctuary is a constant volume system, the other areas are served by VAV systems. These systems are also provided with heat wheels and demand control ventilation at both the system level and the VAV box level.
